Just purchased Dawn of Discovery Gold which i read it was the same thing as Anno 1404 and this pack contains both Dawn of Discovery (Anno 1404) and the Addon Venice. So it ran perfectly on Windows 7 64bits, but. i did see it only said Dawn of Discovery Venice and couldn't find a tutorial and the multiplayer options for online gaming where greyed out. So i noticed the seller gave me 2 serial keys one corresponding to the base game and 1 to the addon. but in order to get a tutorial and the bulk of the game i should start playing the base game but the T@ges activation code program just hangs and says it can't communicate with the server. So i can't activate it manually or via internet. any idea. Thanks for any help. P.S. I can open Venice with no problem, but i have a feeling this is not all the game since i only get options to play directly and i would probably need a hand to understand some stuff in a tutorial i think might exist on the base game. P. Well after many tries doing the manual activation i finally got a long code, so i guess its fixed, just letting this be an informative post if anyone has the same problem. keep trying and trying i guess, eventually it will work and a confirmation that it works under Windows 7 ultimate 64 bits (maybe the server was down, who knows). So ill go to enjoy. 10-06-2012, 04:27 PM. Hi. I bought the Anno 1404 Gold Ed which includes the Venice Add-on, but the Serial code /activation key does not work. Please advise urgently if there is another code or something else I can do as this is a huge frustration.
